Research foundation
The scoring methodology is grounded in peer-reviewed research on AI search retrieval: the Princeton KDD 2024 study on generative engine optimization and the AutoGEO ICLR 2026 paper on automated GEO. Every signal in GEO Optimizer is traceable to a published source.
Open source
GEO Optimizer is MIT licensed. The source code, scoring weights, audit methodology, and all 47 citability methods are publicly available on GitHub. The audit tool and CLI remain free with no rate limits.
AI visibility infrastructure should be auditable by anyone, not locked behind proprietary black boxes.
